Egypt
I was very fortunate to travel with my parents for two and a half weeks to Egypt and Israel. It was an incredible experience filled with memories I will cherish forever. My sisters Shanee and Sarah were also able to come as well as My Grandma and Grandpa Petersen and my Aunt Denise and Aunt Julie. We had such a great time. It was great to see my family.
Egypt was very exciting. I loved the Pyramids. They were incredible. It was truly amazing to stand next to and inside of these structures that are 4,700 years old. The boat ride on the Nile was a great experience. I was easy for me to picture Moses slowly floating down the river. We saw a lot of huge temples. It still amazes me that they were able to build such grand structures without any of the technology we are blessed with today. I learned so much and saw so many incredible things.

Shanee sent me more of the pictures she took while she was here visiting. We ate at one of our favorite places of course the Cheesecake Factory. It was really good, and like always we boxed up all the leftovers and someone forgot to bring them home. Haha I hate when we do that.

This is at our favorite parks ever. It is so so beautiful it has a pond and a running path and trials through the trees. We love to come here and throw our Frisbee. We are getting pretty good. We climbed up in this tree to get some pictures and it wasn't too hard to get up but you should have seen us trying to get down. Thanks for the good laugh Sarah.Tuesday, June 2, 2009
Lunch and The Domes
We ate lunch yesterday at the cutest little coffee shop on the lake. It was such a fun atmosphere and the food was great.
After lunch we went to the botanical domes. It was fun and we got some beautiful pictures of the flowers and my beautiful sisters. My batteries on my camera died so Shanee took more pictures for me so I will post some more of my sisters fun visit when she sends them. So Shanee send me some pics.

Sisters!!!
Shanee and Sarah came to visit me this last week. It was so much fun to have them here. We did a lot of fun stuff but we mainly just hung out and had a great time. I'm so sad that they had to leave. I love you both. Thanks for a great week.

This is beautiful Lake Michigan. We sat by the lake and read it was so much fun.
